This book is a reasonably good resource if you are just starting out as a training provider but it's rather basic if you have some experience as a trainer even if you have never designed a course yourself.
I thought that would be more trouble-shooting, problem solving and far greater detail on how to overcome the issues one faces when putting together a course. OHPs as well as some of the methods and diagrams used give the book a somewhat old-school feel. It's a shame because it does seem like the author probably has a lot of experience in the industry and could share a little more than he did so that we can create better programmes more quickly.
