Why can't we display our discounts? We bought a 25" Hannspree for my 2 year old's room to watch movies on. I can't say anything for backlight bleed, but the viewing angles are bad. Replaced that with an LG 23" because of other problems with the HP and that had the same problem. So it's just not Hannspree. I don't understand though because most monitors claim at least or degree viewing angles, yet they don't seem to achieve them.

Those monitors use a TN panel which result in some backlight bleed, very poor veiwing angles, poor black levels, and very poor color accuracy but have great response times. A decent pva or ips panel will cost you more but wont have these issues and usually have more features. So as with anything you get what you pay for.
